These are the main characters that will me in my indie-rock music video i have made them ware cloths related to the music video genre which are causal clothing/smart, within these photos they are wearing, chinos, boats shoes or smart shoes, a jacket(navy blue very plain and casual) and or causal jumper and one is wearing a jesus chain to represent the 'free living no worries' life style of the calm indie rock music.

These are the key dates and information for the photo-shoot which goes towards my final product.

These are the photo-shoot dates i will be using for my music video there's 3 characters within the music video, i have listed the props, costume and equipment needed and shown the locations where the filming will take place.

Practice Photoshop

In order to practice masking in Photoshop, Within my media lesson i went through steps on how to create cover for my media product.I found an image online ' of people walking within a city and played around with the tools and options.

Using this Photoshop practice, Me and Dayna created a mock CD cover  This cover included many skills to create a final product which included a bar-code, images in the style of our genre, neon green colored writing for the track list and name of album/artis.

Advert design

This advert will be created using Photoshop. It will consist of 4 layers. Each of the layers as follows:

• Background layer ( white)
• Layer 1 ( Main actor-Daniel Prenderville and guitar black and white)
• Layer 2 ( field green)
• Layer 3 ( Sky and clouds blue and white )
• Layer 4 (advert name title 'Lost and found again) 
• Layer 5 (Release Date)
• Layer 6 (Song title)

 This design shows the conventions used in  some other indie adverts. Having the artists within the advert and also having a long shot of them is a convention as it draws the attention to the artists and tells the audience their important and its their album/single. Also the texture is important as the black and white shows the loss of emotion which could have a layer of meanings which is good as the music video has a layer of emotions, The artist is in the same clothing he was in for the video because his clothing is plain like the advert design also representing the negative sad emotions but also as its black and white it represents the positives battling the negatives like Ying-yang  and made him stand out and be noticed as the main character is the only character in the design. The song name is bold and white like the clouds in the background.
Later when designing my actual product i will include:
 the release date at the bottom.

These are the key props needed for my music video as the tripod i need for steady shots that are still and for scenes where i pan for example during the end where i pan from the main characters to the sky. the Fig-rig is key for steady hand held shots and angles which i will be using allot within my music video. and the camera and memory card are the basic equipment needed to film and save.

These items of clothing represent the gender of the music video alongside with the lyrics and music as in many indie-rock music videos the artists wear these types of clothing

Permission's

I have sent and email asking Jamie prenderville to use his room for my music video

This is an email we sent out to the contact the artist,  in order to request the permission to use their
track.Its important to do this so that we don't breach any copyright or legal issues that surround the song.

Locations

The first location I would use for the opening scenes would be at Rose-hill Opposite the main park on the field. I chose this location because of the the large open field with a real nice natural atmosphere, which I wanted in The shots to show the contrast between emotional situations in comparison with my other locations and the soothing relaxed atmosphere in a field to enhance the feeling of being lost This location would be the performance area for the artist this location would create a natural Mise-en-scene that would show the emotions of the main character and how he feels.

Second Location:
The second location would be the drama rooms at Glenthorne High School PDH,DH2&3 because it local and easy to get permission to use. Furthermore the room can be used for spotlights, blackouts and used for different colored lighting because it has the equipment already installed within the room . This room will be used for the the 'getting back togeather' shots The spotlight will create a emotional  and tense atmosphere, showing the friendship and strong feelings the friends have for one-another.

 
Third Location: 
This location at my house because it will show how the main character acts and feels at home when hes alone away from everyone else also this location will be used for when the acoustic guitar, this location is a great way of showing the lonely feelings the main character has and how he spends his time thinking about the situation.
