What did I do when filming helped me edit?

A shot it is important to go through the whole scene and not only just that clip part because when it comes to editing it's allot easier and you have more film as backup just in case.

Each scene in its location we filmed the clips in chronological order so when choosing the clips to add when editing it made the footage easier to find and put in order.
When it came to lip syncing and timing for the dance moves we played the music when filming at the same time this helped the performers to stay in time with the song and make the lip syncing more accurate.
We used a viarty types of equipment like a tripod or fig-rig which helped to make steady well presented shot's, also we used a chair with wheels on it which became handy for doing tracks.

What made editing harder due to filming technics?

One of the troubles that we had when filming that made this music video seem less professional is that some of the shots were hard for us to film because of health and safety hazards

we tried to film extra each time we fell behind and took long between each shot so we started to make them shorter to try and get all the clips in before we ran out of time.

Soon we started to become less organised and started to become less efficeint in our shots and even missed out a couple, when editing this made it hard to fill in some gaps with repeats of others or having to make some clips longer.
What Worked Well?

What worked well was how when editing the shots together we were able to make it have a continuity flow as it had playingmusic along.

the shots that were filmed on slow paced filming. These worked out well because they fitted into the music video in a positive way.

Most of the choreography looked really strong
and the lighting in the library scene was strong as it put the spot light on the people which the audience were meant to be looking at.

Even Better If?

What would make this even better is if there was more lip synching where there were lyrics playing in the song.

Test out the spacing area of where the shot is going to be filmed to make sure that there is enough space for the amount of tables that are needed in the shot for it to work.
